15-year-old Moira Noble’s hopes to re-focus on school and her new relationship are dashed when the captain of the trolls returns to capture the Dragoneer. Unexpectedly, the captain kidnaps her friends by mistake. Now, Moira and her dragon Zephyr must journey to his world of origin to rescue them before the captain discovers his error.
Along the way, Moira and Zephyr find unexpected allies and plenty of enemies. In a land where dragons and men work alongside one another, Moira must navigate politics, intrigue, and prejudice to prevent a war as she seeks to win her friends’ freedom. She’ll also have to find a way to keep up with Zephyr’s desire for spicy food.
